Acupressure massage is one of the oldest Chinese healing methods. Acupressure is similar to acupuncture, but without needles. It works on the meridians (energy channels) of the body. Every meridian has a number of points in the skin: acupressure points. By exerting pressure on these points – acupressure – the body energy is influenced. This stimulates the body’s own strength and blood circulation and relaxes the muscles.
Acupressure is good for:
- frozen shoulder
- headache/migraine
- whiplash
- tennis arm
- stiffness
- cramps
- stress related problems
