My name is Marcel van Harten, born in 1964, father of a beautiful daughter and living in Gouda.

I provide preventive, supportive and therapeutic massages and coaching programs for people who want to stay healthy and fit, who want to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind, who are in a process of change and for people who want to work on their personal development.

About 29 years ago I came into contact with massage in Indonesia. A new world opened up for me then and it never closed after that.
Also because of the many running I regularly ended up on the table after competitions and discovered the beneficial influence of massage. Influences from the many trips to the Far East and especially India also had an impact on my life and how I stood in it.
During this period I got stuck in my office job and decided to follow the sports massage course at the Vitalis Academy in Utrecht. The result of this was a years-long struggle between certainty and routine and my new passion in which I could finally express myself. This theme would continue to occupy me to this day. “The story of my life”

Eventually I dared to give up civil service and started massaging in a sauna in my hometown.
In addition, I started my own practice at home and started a new position in the radiology department in the hospital.

Gradually I got to know the more alternative side of the massage profession and followed all kinds of energy courses for years. But I also got stuck in the ‘secure’ job in the hospital due to a solid burnout and after years of worrying as well as a major event there, I was finally put on the track of self-employment. And…I learned a nice new ‘branch of sport’: chair massage!
An intensive period of an almost continuous flow of courses and training followed and my practice was expanded with various other forms of work such as coaching highly sensitive people, EMDR and Mindfulness training. Thanks to the company massages, I traveled many kilometers in the Randstad and came to a fine balance between my practical work and external assignments.
But then Corona came….. and the structure that had been built up for years fell over.

But now after 2 years, in which I practiced a completely different profession, I am happily back to work with my passion and mission and….. I’m back where I need to BE.
