My name is Joeri, and i live in the Rotterdam area. After spending about fifteen years working in the ports of Rotterdam, i decided it was time for a career switch. Because i have always had a caring nature and am naturally good at one-on-one connections, i wanted to move in a direction where i could truly make a difference for someone.

My journey into the world of massage started in a unique way: with pets. By massaging animals, i learned that simply touching a body reveals a great deal of information about the state it is in. The techniques i applied to animals made me incredibly aware of body language—what is a body really trying to tell us? Furthermore, i found it a wonderful realization that even animals can completely surrender to you and trust that they are in good hands.

Driven by this experience, i ultimately decided to make the transition to massaging humans. I subsequently earned my diploma through the ngs and have been giving massages in a sauna for a number of years now.. In my work with people, i see the exact same similarities as i did with animals. It is all about learning to read someone’s body language, listening to what the body tells me, and building complete trust. The moment someone truly dares to show their true colors at the end of a treatment, and the genuine gratitude is felt—that is exactly what i do it for.

In today’s busy society, it often seems like we take too little time for ourselves and for true relaxation. We frequently walk around with built-up tension for far too long, or simply try to ignore it. In my eyes, massage is the perfect form of preventive maintenance for the body, and everyone deserves that moment of rest. For me, the most important thing is that you can completely let go of everyday worries, allowing you to face tomorrow with fresh, renewed energy.
